Chemical & Physical Properties:
Carbon dioxide is a compound of carbon and oxygen,
existing as a colorless, odorless, and non-flammable
gas under normal temperature and pressure conditions.
CO₂ is approximately 1.5 times heavier than air and
has mild acidic properties. At around -78.5°C, it
converts directly into a solid form known as dry ice,
skipping the liquid phase under standard pressure.
