Acetylene

Chemical & Physical Properties:
Acetylene is a chemical compound of carbon and
hydrogen. It is a colorless, flammable gas,
slightly lighter than air.
Pure acetylene is odorless, however commercial
grade acetylene may carry a distinct odor due
to trace impurities. Acetylene requires careful
handling during storage and transport due to its
sensitivity under certain conditions, and must
always be used in accordance with approved
industrial safety standards.
