Liquid Carbon Dioxide

A versatile cryogenic liquid used across food preservation, industrial cooling, and fire suppression — delivering reliable temperature control and high-efficiency storage for large-scale operations.

Chemical & Physical Properties:

Liquid carbon dioxide is the liquid form of CO₂ gas, obtained by compressing and cooling the gas under specific pressure and temperature conditions. Carbon dioxide transitions to its liquid state when maintained under adequate pressure and sufficiently low temperature. At approximately -78.5°C under standard pressure, CO₂ converts directly into dry ice, bypassing the liquid phase. Liquid CO₂ is widely used in applications requiring cooling, preservation, or precise temperature control.

Applications:

  • Industrial refrigeration and cooling
  • Food freezing and preservation
  • Cold storage of perishable products
  • Fire suppression systems and extinguishers
  • Decaffeination of coffee
  • Enhancement of agricultural and food processes such as olive oil production
  • Industrial softening and processing operations

Supply Options:

  • Dewar cylinders and dewars
  • ISO cryogenic liquid containers
  • Specialized liquid gas transport trailers
